Bio
Pilot Obi (Previously known as Kid Kal) (Kyle I. McClure) was born January 21,1992 in Charlotte NC. His father having three degrees and his mother being a Howard Graduate, the early years of Kid Kal's life were quiet quite. However, having such a talent for displaying emotion at such a young age, he was enrolled into the Children's Theater at the age of six where he began to fine tune his skills for the stage. Knowing and feeling that he was different from most kids his age; he gravitated towards things that caught his attention, such as skateboarding and poetry. Through those two activities he began to explore the world of self expression.

Lift Off Productions was created in Charlotte, NC by producer Jon King.

Jon King was born in the last year of the 80's and while young has developed his craft to produce a visionary sound that often makes the listener stop and pay attention.

Producing under the name J. King or Lift Off Productions Mr. King dedicated his time to enjoying life and making music. While most producers claim to be the best Mr. King remains humble. "I always look for new sounds to explore, new patterns to combine. I love to experiment with previously over looked or under appreciated sounds."

It has been a long time coming, Jon has been producing tracks for artist for almost half a decade and has now picked up momentum. From his latest accomplishment; landing well-paying placements to networking with as many artists as possible Jon remains focused. "While most other people are out partying or chilling I'm doing something related to my goals. Sure I take time off but I'm much more at peace when I'm occupied."
